EDGE QUANTUM 65

“Intelligence that belongs to you.”

The machine computes. The human decides.

I — The position

The intelligence stays in the machine.

Edge Quantum 65 is an R&D laboratory in Lannemezan, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, where nothing is published that has not been measured. It runs two activities.

Embedded technology, born from a chess engine: a local monitoring module designed to learn how a machine operates and alert staff, on site, before the breakdown. Validated in simulation; the first real-machine trial is still ahead. It runs without a connection, and nothing leaves without the client's decision.

The technology portfolio: technologies drawn from public documents, brought back to life with today's means and offered for assignment — other forms on a case-by-case basis — or as a custom 3D model.

II — Principles

Four rules.

I.

Sovereignty

No threshold, no parameter comes from an external server. Everything is written into the chip, and nothing changes there without your consent.

II.

Determinism

Same input, same output. Nothing random is hidden: the system is verifiable.

III.

Frugality

The computation fits on a microcontroller: no GPU, no gigabytes of RAM. Few components, little energy.

IV.

Offline by default

The network is not required for operation.

III — State of the foundation

What is measured.

Every figure published here can be checked against the source code or the laboratory's inventory; the date of each measurement is indicated. No estimates, no projections.

IV — The two poles

Embedded technology. The portfolio.

V — The demonstration

The demonstration.

Telemetry runs through the module's rules and comes out as typed decisions — logging, monitoring, alert. The computation runs in your browser: nothing leaves your machine.

VI — Working with the laboratory

Two entry points.

VII — The founder

A chess player who checks everything.

David Serreau, CCM and International Master of the International Correspondence Chess Federation (ICCF), member of the French national team. In this discipline, engines are allowed: the difference lies in the person who directs them and verifies their evaluations. That is the laboratory's method.

VIII — Write to me

A machine that is wearing out, or a need under NDA.

The laboratory responds to manufacturers, integrators and technology buyers. The complete portfolio dossiers are shared under a confidentiality agreement.
